IFC Checker

The sections of Results

The 3D view, the analytical view, the tables and BCF topics.

  • How do I use the 3D view?

The 3D view sits at the top of Results and draws the checked model with the failed elements in red and the passed ones in green.

  • How do I use the analytical view?

The analytical view sits over the 3D view and gives the result in a few big numbers, the Model Correctness Index and the counts of untested, failed and passed elements.

  • How do I use the Model section?

The Model section of Results has one row for each model of the check, with its file, IFC schema, size, the program that wrote it, the Model health result, how many elements it has, how many are untested and failed, and its index.

  • How do I use the Extended data section?

Extended data lists every element the test checked, with every value it holds, one tab for each group of requirements.

  • What are untested elements?

An element is untested when no specification of the test applies to it, and untested elements lower the Model Correctness Index by up to 20 percent.

  • How do I use the BCF topics section?

The last section of Results lists every BCF topic the check writes, with a small picture of each.
